Hourly Financial Planning

Good financial planning is the first step towards financial security. During the initial meeting we will discuss your financial goals and concerns and determine how we can best meet your needs. We will then recommend the financial planning services that will help you achieve your financial goals.

Comprehensive Financial Plan

A comprehensive financial plan may include the selecting and defining of goals, a net worth and cash flow statement, analysis of insurance needs, education and retirement funding projections, tax and estate planning recommendations. We will identify the comprehensive services that would best meet your needs and quote you a fee for your plan.

Asset Allocation Plan

If you select and manage your own investments, you may benefit from an asset allocation plan. Your current assets will be reviewed in light of your goals, time horizon, risk tolerance, investment returns, interest rates, and inflation. Each of your investments will be identified by asset class and the overall long-term return and risk of your portfolio will be estimated. Recommendations will be made on how your portfolio could be repositioned within asset classes to reduce your risk and improve your returns. Projections of the portfolio’s growth against your goals may also be included.

Retirement Plan

We will visit with you regarding your goals for retirement and prepare a plan based on your current investments, new contributions, rates of return, inflation, social security, pensions, on-going expenses in retirement, and occasional or unusual expenses or income in retirement years. The projections are prepared so that you can do a series of “what if’s” and immediately see changes to your retirement plan. You will receive both graphical and detailed numerical reports of the projections.

Insurance Needs Analysis and Policy Recommendations

We will discuss what you and your family will need in the event you were to die prematurely, become disabled, or need long-term care. We will then analyze whether you have the right amount of life insurance, disability insurance, and long-term care insurance. Your current insurance policies will be reviewed and evaluated.

Estate Planning

We will review your existing estate documents and discuss basic estate planning ideas with you in preparation for your visit to an estate planning attorney. If appropriate we will also provide you with advanced estate planning recommendations such as trusts and charitable gifting techniques to reduce your federal estate taxes. We will work closely with your attorney in preparing a comprehensive estate plan.

Annual Review

Our firm believes that financial planning is an on-going process. We request that clients meet with us at least annually to review and update their financial plans.

Fees

Financial planning is billed at an hourly rate. The fees vary depending on the complexity of your situation and we will be happy to quote you a fee range.
